Leaf TrapTM Self-Cleaning Rain Gutter System
The Leaf TrapTM Self-Cleaning Rain Gutter System is made from laser-cut, 24-gauge aluminum with closed-riveted, waterproof seams that are designed to fit K-Style or European Box rain gutters. Development is currently underway for fitment onto half-round rain gutters as well. This system is currently in production with deliveries expected in Q1 2026. Symmetry
The Leaf TrapTM Self-Cleaning Rain Gutter System mounts to your rain gutter in symmetric fashion to allow debris trapment no matter the direction of water flow to the left, to the right, or in both directions. The center section provides fitment to standard 2"x3" downspouts and provides a 1/4-20 rivet nut installed on the back side for ease of mounting to the fascia. The overall drainage area represents a five-fold increase over a standard downspout egress area in order to eliminate downspout blockages.
Ease of Use
Each Leaf TrapTM collection chamber includes an easy-to-use latching mechanism. Simply lift up on the handle and pull to disengage the latch using a pivoting action. To re-engage, simply insert the bottom end of the collection chamber into the center section, pivot upward and then push to re-engage the latching mechanism.
Removal
Once disengaged, the Leaf TrapTM collection chamber facilitates the clearing of its massive 108 cubic inch volume from collected debris into a garbage container. Gone are the days of climbing up on your roof to clean the full-length interiors of your rain gutters. Instead, simply remove and clear the Leaf TrapTM collection chambers of debris at each installed downspout location. The result truly is remarkable since the rain gutters self-clean themselves by leveraging their ability to direct rain water to the downspout while disallowing clogs from happening at the downspout.
